There are over 39,000 living John Carroll Alumni living across the country and around the globe. Regardless of where you live, John Carroll wants to keep you connected to the University and with other John Carroll alumni. In an effort to keep its alumni connected, John Carroll has re-established its alumni chapter program.
Alumni chapters exist to promote John Carroll University and foster positive relationships between alumni and their local communities. The alumni chapter program will determine the extent to which some alumni remain in touch with JCU, their classmates and fellow graduates. Alumni chapters are one of the largest and most visible ways in which alumni contribute to John Carroll University, the John Carroll Alumni Association and the communities in which they reside.
Each chapter operates under the same general framework. This framework is based on the core mission and vision of John Carroll University a Jesuit institution of higher education. There are five core components of chapter programming. They are as follows:
- Service and Civic Engagement Opportunities
- Leadership/Professional Development
- Educational/Cultural/Spiritual Programming
- Social Events
- Alumni-in-Admission and Special JCU Initiative Support
