Graduate Programs - Degree Application Instructions

When it is time to leave John Carroll University and the Boler College of Business, there is still information we need from you.

It is the student’s responsibility to file an application for the degree at the appropriate time. The deadlines are as follows:

  • Spring graduation (May, date varies) - deadline is the fourth Monday of November
  • Summer graduation (August 31) - deadline is February 15
  • Fall (Winter) graduation (January 15)  - deadline is the second Monday of July

The John Carroll University graduation fee is $200. An additional fee of $25 is assessed for late applications. Late applications may be accepted until the deadline of the next graduation; however only those applications filed by the dates given can be guaranteed processing in time for the next conferral of degrees.

Once the application has been submitted to the Boler Graduate Programs Office, a degree audit will be completed. The student will be informed in writing of the status of their application and any remaining degree requirements.
