Dr. Lim is a native of Cambodia. He used to work as a bank treasurer and a research intern at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. Before joining the faculty at John Carroll, he was a graduate student instructor at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Dr. Lim teaches Principles of Macroeconomics and Intermediate Macroeconomics on a regular basis. His teaching interests also include Monetary Economics and Development Economics.
Dr. Lim’s current research agenda includes fiscal policy in a small open economy, international migration and remittances, culture and economic growth. He also works on other topics in Monetary Economics and International Economics. His work has been published in Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Journal of Economics and Business, Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, Applied Economics, Economic Papers, and Asia Pacific Journal of Economics and Business.
