Background

Albert L. Nagy is a CPA in Ohio, and a member of the American Accounting Association, Institute of Internal Auditors, and the American Institute and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Courses

His primary teaching interest is Intermediate Accounting.

Research

His research interests include audit quality, auditor industry specialization, internal audit, and human capital issues. He has published articles in a several leading accountancy journals, including The Accounting ReviewAuditing: A Journal of Practice and TheoryAccounting HorizonsResearch in Accounting RegulationThe International Journal of AccountingManagerial Auditing Journal, and The Ohio CPA, and has made several academic presentations at national and regional meetings throughout the United States.

Additional Information

Dr. Nagy is happily married to his wife Marianne and is the proud father of his son, Peter, and daughter, Grace. They all reside in Stow, Ohio.
