Mr. Goodrich received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Boler School of Business in 1964. Upon graduation, he joined the tax department at Arthur Andersen & Co., at the time a “Big 8” accounting firm. Following a tour of duty with the U.S. Army in Vietnam in 1969, he returned to the firm where he worked for 37 years, until his retirement in 2001. From 1990 to 1996, Mr. Goodrich served as the managing partner of the Cleveland office of Arthur Andersen & Co., and at the time of his retirement, he was the director of Global Tax and assistant treasurer for Andersen Worldwide, the parent organization of Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Goodrich has been the Executive-in-Residence at John Carroll since 2003 and a director at Shiloh Industries since 2004.

Additional Information

In addition to his experience as a professional tax accountant, he has served on the boards of many civic and charitable organizations, including the Greater Cleveland Growth Association, United Way of Greater Cleveland, and others. Mr. Goodrich also continues to support John Carroll University. He served as a member of the Board of Trustees at John Carroll from 1994 through 2005. He also served on the Boler School of Business advisory committee as well as the advisory committee of the Department of Accountancy. Additionally, Mr. Goodrich was named one of the “50 Finest Graduates” of the Boler School of Business in 1995.
