Dr. Randrianasolo is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at John Carroll University. With a background in international marketing and music marketing, he focuses on the how consumers across different markets throughout the world perceive and respond to marketing strategies.
Dr. Randrianasolo currently teaches Principals of Marketing and Applied Consumer Insights. He also has experience in teaching Marketing Management and International Business.
Dr. Randrianasolo’s research spans across three different areas: international marketing strategy, international consumer behavior, and music marketing. He has conducted research centered on cultural intelligence, global brands, firm legitimacy, global identity, national identity, social media usage in the music industry, and music artist brand personalities. He has presented his work at conferences such as the Academy of Marketing Science Annual Conference, the American Marketing Association Summer Educator’s Conference, the American Marketing Association Winter Educator’s Conference, and the Academy of International Business Annual Conference. Furthermore, he has published research in the Journal of International Marketing.
Dr. Randrianasolo received his Ph.D. in Marketing and International Business from Saint Louis University. He holds a Master of Arts in Music Business from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and International Business from Saint Louis University.
