Background

Dr. Zehra teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Marketing at the Boler College of Business.  She completed her Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Wyoming.  Before starting her Ph.D. program, she worked in the packaging films industry in India, handling exports marketing and sales operations for client markets in Europe and Canada.  During her graduate M.B.A. studies, she was awarded two university gold medals for the highest academic performance in the university.  She uses her substantial academic and industry experience in Marketing to inform her teaching and research.

Research

Dr. Zehra has published research in the areas of religion's influence on consumer behavior; sustainability; and macromarketing.  Her research has been published in the Journal of Consumer Affairs, International Journal of Consumer Studies, and a book titled Emerging Issues in Global Marketing.  Her ongoing research focuses on sensory marketing, assessing the influence of product color dimensions on consumer judgments of key product attribute.  She has also presented her research at American Marketing Association, Academy of Marketing Science, Academy of Marketing, and Macromarketing conferences.
