Background

Dr. Horne has more than 15 years of industry experience as both an employee and consultant to senior management at firms including John Hancock, McGraw-Hill, Whirlpool, Glidden, British Petroleum, Key Bank, General Electric, Progressive, Mercy Health, Federated Investors and several public health departments in Ohio.  Dr. Horne has managed Information Systems projects, wrangled data and performed advanced quantitative analysis.  Dr. Horne emphasizes active learning and application of concepts to real world experiences through an ethical lens.

Dr. Horne's primary teaching interests are in Supply Chain Management and Analytics.

Research

Dr. Horne's primary research interests include quantitative analysis of public health initiatives and supply chain seasonality.
