Your first step to becoming a Boler student is applying to John Carroll University. You’ll indicate your interest in pursuing a major in business on your application. If you’re accepted to John Carroll University, you’re also accepted into the Boler College of Business.

Early Action Deadline
Apply for admission (no application fee) by John Carroll’s Early Action (non-binding) deadline of December 1. Those who meet the Early Action deadline will receive their admission decision by the third week of December at the latest.
Rolling Admission Deadlines
Following our December 1, 2017 Early Action deadline, John Carroll University reviews applications and accepts students on a rolling basis. Decisions are released every 7-10 days starting in mid-January.

Application Process Overview
Steps:
- Submit the Common Application online.
- Ask your high school counseling office to submit your official transcript, Common Application School Report and/or Common Application Counselor Recommendation. A Common Application Teacher Evaluation is optional.
- Submit your ACT and/or SAT test results.

Financial Aid Overview
You should file the FAFSA by our priority deadline of December 1, 2017. This will allow you to be considered for additional need-based aid from JCU. Financial Aid awards are released beginning in January.
Scholarships Overview
When you submit your application for admission, you will automatically be considered for merit scholarships, which are awarded based on your classroom performance, standardized test scores, and extracurricular involvement. You will be notified of your scholarship at the time of admission.
