Dr. Yin's research focuses on 1) relationship marketing and prosocial consumer behavior (e.g., designing effective communication strategies for organizations using relationship norms, incentives, prosocial emotions such as moral elevation, color psychology, etc.) and 2) branding, (brand alliance, consumer transgressions).  Dr. Yin's research has been published in the International Journal of Research in Marketing (IJRM) and Journal of Product and Brand Management.  Dr. Yin has taught undergraduate courses on consumer behavior, digital and social media marketing, and Integrated Marketing Communications.
