Dr. Astrove is an Assistant Professor of Management in the Department of Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain in the Boler School of Business at John Carroll University. She received her B.S. in Management from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University and her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. Prior to earning her Ph.D., Dr. Astrove worked in employee benefits for Gallagher Benefit Services. Dr. Astrove is a member of the Academy of Management and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Prior to joining the Boler faculty, Dr. Astrove taught as an instructor in the Department of Management and Organizations at the University of Iowa. She currently teaches courses in organizational behavior and human resources in the Boler School of Business at John Carroll University.
Dr. Astrove’s primary research interests include developmental work relationships, misfit, and counterproductive work behavior. Her work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal. She has presented her work at the Academy of Management (AOM) annual conference, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology annual conference.
