Dr. Feng Zhan joined the John Carroll University as an assistant professor of finance in August 2014. Prior to joining the faculty at John Carroll, Dr. Zhan served as an instructor at York University. Dr. Zhan was also a researcher at the Capital Market Cooperative Research Centre in Australia (CMCRC), and a research consultant at the Investment Industry Regulatory of Canada in Toronto, Canada.
Professor Zhan’s teaching interests are in the areas of investment, portfolio management, corporate finance and financial markets.
Dr. Zhan has research interests in international finance, corporate finance, corporate governance, investments, law and finance, and market microstructure. His work has been published in the following journals: The Journal of Banking and Finance, The Journal of Corporate Finance, The Journal of Business Ethics, The Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, The European Journal of Finance, and Corporate Governance: An International Review.
