Background

Dr. Adana comes from a military background serving in logistics and operations for 14 years at the tactical to strategic levels including international posts like SHAPE Headquarters, Mons, Belgium.  Dr. Adana believes adding value to the learning process of students happens through relating to real world examples.

Courses

Dr. Adana's primary teaching interests are courses in Supply  Chain Management, Project Management and Transportation Management.

Research

Dr. Adana's primary research interests include supply chain resilience, risk propensity in supply chain contract selection, supply chain learning, performance-based contracting and machine learning applications in supply chain management.  His work has been published in the International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management.
