
Transfer Students
Your first step to becoming a Boler transfer student is applying to John Carroll University using the transfer application.
You’ll indicate your interest in pursuing a major in business on your application. If you’re accepted to JCU, you’re also accepted into the Boler College of Business.
Your admissions situation/application may fall into one of three categories below:
Readmit Student
If you previously attended John Carroll University and want to return, you apply as a readmit student.
Transfer Student
If you currently attend or previously attended another college or university, you apply as a transfer student.
Transient Student
If you currently attend another college or university, and want to take summer classes before returning to your home school, you apply as a transient student.
Key Transfer Admissions Deadlines
Application Review
- Fall semester application files will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning in the preceding February. It is recommended that all required admission documents be submitted ten business days prior to the first day of the semester.
- Spring semester application will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning in the preceding October. It is recommended that all required admission documents be submitted ten business days prior to the first day of the semester.
Financial Aid Awards
- Financial aid for prospective transfer students will begin in April for fall enrollment and late November for spring enrollment.
- A GPA of 2.5 or above in previous college courses is recommended for admission.
